Jilly Cooper, Author
“The Looked After Kid by Paolo Hewitt is brilliant. It's an account of growing up in a children's home and is terribly touching.”

About Paolo

PAOLO HEWITT

Paolo Hewitt grew up in care in Woking in the 1960s and 70s, an experience he chronicled in his acclaimed memoir, The Looked After Kid. He moved to London in 1980 to become a music journalist and worked for Melody Maker and NME. In the early 1990s he gave up full time journalism to write his first novel, Heaven's Promise. He has since written biographies of The Jam, The Small Faces, Oasis and Steve Marriott.

Paolo Hewitt has been a friend of Wholepoint for a number of years and we were delighted when the opportunity came along to secure his signature. Paolo has written many excellent books since 1983 and some of these will now be released on Digital Format - In its infancy but like the CD’s and MP3 - a technology that will take off with the arrival of the IPad and IPhone.

Wholepoint can announce that the 1st book will be his acclaimed biography, ‘The Looked After Kid.’ No further books have been confirmed but discussions are continuing.
